In this 1:38 video, two Toro commercial customers review their steel buildings. Rob Giordano, President of Technical Steel Corp, says his building was easy to customize, went up fast enough to meet very tight timelines, and was economical. Glenn Pestron, CEO of Modular Precast, says his building got the business running and earning revenue sooner, with zero maintenance and no special parts to order.
Toro designs, engineers, manufactures and delivers pre-engineered steel buildings for industrial, commercial, agricultural and personal use, each one engineered for the loads and codes at its site. Toro doesn’t install buildings: kits are engineered for bolt-together assembly by the customer or a local contractor.

Rob’s company runs a 150x300x27 industrial steel building, about 45,000 sq ft, built with crane capacity for demanding operations. He had very tight timelines, and says the building went up really fast. He has since sent customers and friends to Toro.

Every Toro building is engineered in-house for your site’s snow, wind and seismic loads and comes with engineer-stamped drawings. Buildings are made in 30+ manufacturing facilities certified to standards including CSA A660, CWB, AISC and AWS D1.1. Engineering is led by Noah Sinclair, our in-house structural engineer.

Can Toro build large industrial and commercial buildings?
Yes. Toro’s T-Model red iron buildings offer clear spans up to 300 ft for warehouses, manufacturing plants and other large commercial and industrial buildings. Rob Giordano’s 150x300x27 building in this video is one example.
Can I customize the size and design of my building?
Yes. You choose the dimensions, openings and finishes, and a design specialist works with you on the loads and codes for your location. The specialist confirms the exact specifications before production begins, and changes after that point usually carry fees.
Does Toro install the building?
No. Toro designs, engineers, manufactures and delivers your building, and every kit is engineered for bolt-together assembly. For large commercial and industrial buildings, most customers hire a local contractor.
Do I get engineer-stamped drawings?
Yes. Every Toro building comes with engineer-stamped drawings for your location, which you can use for your building permit.
Does Toro supply the foundation?
No. Toro provides the structural reactions for every building so a local contractor can build the foundation to spec. Anchor bolts are included with cold-formed buildings and are an add-on for arch and red iron buildings.
How much does a commercial steel building cost?
Toro steel building kits start at $19 USD per sq ft in the U.S. and $26 CAD per sq ft in Canada. Your site’s loads and codes, along with size, framing system and options, have a big impact on the final price, so reach out for pricing on your specific building.
